Management Consultation ~ A Strategic Approach

Your delivery of Employee Assistance and WorkLife services requires successful consultation with leaders and managers.  Your growing credibility provides entry into the workplace and offers an opportunity to build understanding of the systemic impact of behavioral health on productivity and the work environment.

It is essential that key decision makers are actively involved in this strategic approach.  If you are to become a strategic business partner to your client organizations, you will need to develop strong consultation skills. In this role, it is important that you deliver new and effective solutions to the workplace.  You must be able to translate your knowledge of behavioral health, together with information and solutions, into language that is meaningful and actionable for your key decision makers.

Consulting with management requires both the art of building relationships and the science of disciplined tools to achieve success.  As you refine your skills as a counselor and increase your knowledge as a consultant, you will deliver on both the art and science of behavioral health in the workplace.   Your professional identity will expand to reflect this integrated expertise.

Your consultation can begin at the individual level with management and Human Resources (HR) regarding
important Employee Relations (ER) situations and can extend to large scale organizational business change.
Whatever the circumstance or scale of opportunity, strategic consultation will add value to your client’s ability to make effective decisions.

Sheila Monaghan & Associates offers strategic consultation, coaching and education to organizations and individuals.  With increasing knowledge and skill in the art and science of strategic consultation, you will create future value in the global marketplace.
